The Future of St. Leonard Campaign

Every day we hear about the desire to have a bakery, a coffee shop, a grocery store, and a variety of other family and pedestrian friendly places and businesses in St. Leonard Town Center. The lack of these places and businesses together with the long-time neglect or vacancy of some properties has opened a window to push for real economic development for St. Leonard. Don’t let our Commissioners ignore St. Leonard anymore. Send a message that you want them to foster a business base in St. Leonard Town Center large enough to support our day to day needs by signing this letter calling for a plan that supports having real economic development, having a real small town family/pedestrian-friendly village atmosphere, and bringing a community sewerage and upgraded water system scaled to the small town character of St. Leonard.

Include your name, address, and your own personal message (if desired) to the County Commissioners. At the end of your message copy and paste:

“During this update of the St. Leonard Town Center Master Plan and Zoning Ordinance, the Board of County Commissioners should approve changes that (1) foster a market and business base in St. Leonard Town Center large enough to support the day to day needs of the surrounding community; (2) support a small town family/pedestrian-friendly village atmosphere; and (3) would bring a community sewerage and upgraded water system scaled to the small town character of St. Leonard.”
