SLVG Workgroups
At present six sub-groups are active within SLVG.
- The Community Spirit group; plans and provides community events,like the Easter Egg Hunt and the Fiesta.
- Natural Resources, Recreation and Trails Work Group; is working to create new walking and bike trails.
- Youth and Community Support; working on the creation of a skateboard park.
- Heritage Group; Recently published the award winning book, St Leonard – A Maryland Tidewater Community to commemorate the 350th anniversary of Calvert county.
- Polling House Museum; Working to make the historic polling house a museum.
- Garden of Remembrance; plans and gardens in the Spring and Summer, meets Wednesday evenings at the garden.
