The Calvert County Planning Commission and the Department of Planning & Zoning invite you to attend a presentation on the St. Leonard Town Center Master Plan and Zoning Ordinance update. Planning Commission staff will provide an overview of the first draft of the St. Leonard Town Center Master Plan and a kick-off for the St. Leonard Zoning Ordinance update. Copies of the first draft of the St. Leonard Master Plan update will be available at the meeting.
In the interest of making St. Leonard Town Center an even better place to live, work and play, there is a recommended action to perform a sewer feasibility study included in the first draft of the Master Plan update.
Please voice your support for the sewer feasibility study at this meeting. It is an important issue.
The ability of St. Leonard Town Center to serve and function as a nice small town is largely limited by the lack of adequate water and sewer services. This has a profound (negative) impact on the quality of life for area residents who would like to have more places to go and things to do and see in the town center.
The County Commissioners need to hear from you to know there is consensus for a town center sewer system.
